Good week for one-shoe sightings!

Hello all,

I had two great one-shoe sightings this week.

1) One day I was eating lunch at this deli-cafe (you know, the ones with the big hot and cold food bars). I saw this very elegant attractive tall slender black woman (I'd say around 35) sitting a few tables in front of me eating lunch with probably some co-workers. She was dressed very business like, wearing a suit with a slightly above the knee skirt, sheer jet black stockings, and black 3 inch slingbacks. She was sitting with her legs crossed at the ankles and her left foot was hanging out of her slingback completely. But wait, this gets even better! She gets up to go to the counter to get some napkins and guess what?? She leaves her one slingback back at her table and walks up to the counter and back in one slingback!! I was in heaven!! She was so elegant and precise in her walk, balancing herself perfectly on the toes of her one bare nyloned foot and one slingback. She had a long, narrow foot that was just as graceful and beautiful as she was, encased inside a sheer jet black sandalfoot stocking. Her toes looked perfectly pedicured and painted dark red. When she got back to her table, she then crossed her legs at the knees with her shoeless foot in the air and her shoed foot on the floor and dipped partially out of her remaining slingback. Eventually, she put her shoes back on and she and her co-workers left.

2) I was going home one day and was walking down the steps to the subway. The woman in front of me was wearing closed toes mules and suddenly stopped halfway down the staircase. I then realized why. Her right mule slipped off of her bare foot and tumbled down the stairs. She then walked the rest of the way down the stairs, her one remaining mule clicking on the concrete stairs and padding on the toes of her one bare foot. When she got to the base of the staircase where her "runaway" mule was, she lifted her foot to brush the dirt off the bottom with her hand and then put her mule back on and went on her way.

What a week!!
