I don't know if this answers your question, but it always seems like men who are drawn to legs and feet are a lot more emotional and sensitive than men who fixate on a woman's breasts or her ass. I think that foot fetishists have a lot more respect and admiration for women, for their minds and their emotions. But--like all men--we have strong sexual impulses, and they sort of get "redirected" into a preoccupation with their feet. My theory is that a woman's feet are more "linked" to their thoughts and feelings than other body parts, like their breasts. I mean, I think most women who play with their shoes do so in reaction to something they're thinking or feeling--I've always noticed that women dangle or dip or wiggle their toes the most whenever they flirt, or when they're excited, or happy, or something like that. Sort of like the way a cat purrs and wags its tail when it's pleased. That's not really the case with their breasts or ass--they just sort of sit there, irregardless of the woman's mood. And I think another issue is the fact that feet are very symbolic of vulnerability, and this is something that we respond to as well. You would think that being naked would make a women seem humble and vulnerable, but that's really not the case at all. Vulnerability is not what anybody associates with things like pornography or strip clubs--quite the opposite, in the sense that those women always come across as being very armored and cold and icy and aloof. "Breast men", or men who are aggressive and macho in general, tend to be attracted to those kinds of women by virtue of the lack of vulnerability and emotion, which allows them to objectify them. I don't think foot fetishists see woman's feet as sexual objects, I think they see them as symbols--of vulnerability, humility, tenderness, and warmth; all things that most of us are ultimately looking for in partners. I don't know about anybody else, but I always respond the most to women who are willing to "let their guard down" and be themselves with me, who I can talk to openly about my thoughts and feelings, and feet just seem to be sort of a weird "barometer" of that. I guess that's sort of a psychobabbly response and I apologize, but believe me, I've given this topic a lot of thought throughout my life, trying to figure out why I love feet and nylon so much.
