The reason they said is because with colored stockings, women will be able to make new fashion statements as they will be able to either color coordinate or be totally rebellious. I belive the real reason why is because in the Wall Street Journal, they said that the bareleg look was causing pantyhose sales to decline. I had faith that the pantyhose industry would come up with up some kind of way to. The downsize is that Neiman-Marcus is introducing the toe-less stocking call Spanx. Bummer. Why wear toe-less stockings? That's like Beaver Cleaver walking around with a big hole in his socks! : It's great to hear that nylon stockings will be making a comeback soon! Whatever color, as long as they are back. This Spanx crap had better not catch on!Toes without nylons is like peanut butter without jelly, it just not right!!!
