In Chicago professional women sometimes wear pumps when the snow is shoveled and sidewalks are clear. Often, you can see women change from boots to pumps in offices. At restaurants in particular, I have seen women in heels going to or from cars, lose a shoe. This also happens in the film "Innocent Blood" but the camera shot is substandard. One of the best things about frosty weather is that when women dipping step onto cold pavement, their feet make temporary condensation foot prints. If anyone is interested in this, I have many stories. I posted one in the message section around oct-nov of 2000 called "Winter Fun" where my secretary lost her pump in the snow, while getting the mail. Check out "Montenegro" at your blockbuster video store. Susan Anspach looses her pump at the airport and walks around barefoot in the snow for the rest of the movie. : Pls, people from the North, tell me, do any girls wear pumps and hose during your frosty winter ? It seems fantastic to me !
