Great story! It reminds me of a number of similar experiences, particularly with my college girlfriends (one of whom I married) and my sister-in-law. At least half of all the shoes she wears have crushed backs. I've also noticed that one of the best times to see girls and women with loose shoes is the early spring when they switch from socks or kneesocks to nylons and find out how much their shoes have stretched. Now, any stories about those black skimmers?
