Ok first of all a correction. I saw Hackers yesterday on account of this review someone posted here "Hackers - Angelina Jolie swims around in a pool fully clothed, her pumps come off. (black stockings)." This is inaccurate as she was wearing combat boots in the preceding scene and they don't come off in the pool, they're already off. Finally it's very difficult to see her feet in the scene. My advice is to avoid it. Here's a couple I haven't seen mentioned: No Contest - an abysmal Die Hard knockoff "starring" Andrew Dice Clay and Shannon Tweed. Lots of early shots of beauty pagent contestants in heels. The few that are taken as hostages are taken up to a room where the villians remove their jewelry and (for some reason) their high heels. You'll probably want to slo-mo this bit. Jennifer 8 - Uma Thurman plays a blind woman. She dresses up in a hot red sequin dress and heels and goes to a party where she gets lost. The cop (Andy Garcia) interested in her finds her crying in a bedroom and asks what's wrong. She says, "I just can't wear these shoes." He kneels down and slips off her pumps. A short but tasty scene. Adding to the grand canonical list of high heel scenes in Geena Davis movies, I include: Angie - Davis lying under a sink in a plumber commercial. She's wearing red spike heels. After the commercial she takes them off and walks around barefoot. Speechless - Davis plays a speech writer. At one point she takes off her shoes to walk in a fountain. She seems to have a scene in most of her movies. Personally I like the one in The Fly the best. I checked out A Rage in Harlem. That scene is pretty sweet. Robin Givens has first rate peds.
