: : I am a married 47 yr old professional women who wears heels and nylons everyday. In fact I wear nylons with jeans on the weekend and oh yes i even do the so called "dredded" sheer nude nylons with high heel sandals and slides. I don't understand the nasty negative all knowing holier than thou comments towards nylons. If you don't like them, so be it don't look at those of us who do. I can tell you this; I personally know more men who love women in nylons than without. In fact a lot of men I know complain that women (incuding their wives) dress down so much all of the time that it turns them off and that they aprreciate a women who can look sexy yet proffessional at the same time. P.S. I am a dangler as well.

: I am a 23 year old young woman, and I actually prefer to wear shoes without hose. As such, I own no hose and only wear socks during the cold winter months. All other times, I wear my shoes barefoot. Nylons are seemingly phasing out. I no longer wear them (haven't for at least 3 years)as I prefer the bare look and it is fashionable and comfy. I often go nightclubbing, and when I do, I always wear strappy black high heels with bare feet. The majority of other party girls, go without hose too. I consider myself to have a fine complexsion and beautiful toes, and feel it unnecessary to wear tights or stockings with my shoes. I wouldn't know, because I have never done it (nor never would)but feet must get very hot, sticky and sweaty when wearing hosiery with shoes in the sweltering humidity of the summer. I both dip and dangle and love doing it bare.

I have a younger sister (35) and she says the only reason she wears sandals without hose is because that is the fashion.
But, depending on the type of sandal she wears, she said she doesn't like it when her soles stick to the sandal, which happens when the feet are moist.
So she prefers to wear WITH hose for that reason.
Even more so with pumps..she has worn with and without hose and she said she usually wears with hose because her soles stick to the innersole and damages them from all the moisture. She said it is also easier to slip out of them with hose. So I guess it depends somewhat on how much a lady's feet sweat, since we are all different.
