Even in northern New England, girls often wear
sandals (without socks) in the snow! It's got to be
as uncomfortable as it gets. They must think it's sexy,
don't ask me why. I rather think it's sheer
stupidity. Winter days here vary between below
zero to just a little above freezing. A day in the 40s
like you mentioned is summerlike around here!
