Hmmm...that's kinda tricky with your boss there. You don't want to show her up (then again maybe you do) but you don't want to get on her bad side. Is your boss somewhat amiable? I'm not sure what you should do but just to throw something out there maybe you could go halfway and wear pants but some open shoes?....i dunno the fashion rules on that kinda stuff. Maybe some female message board contributors could help.
